Take Heart Australia Day 2015

During my time at OnQue, I worked closely with the charitable organisation Take Heart Australia, which was formed to educate the public and dramatically increase the survival rate of sudden cardiac arrest in Australia. OnQue became a digital partner of Take Heart Australia Day 2015 – a mass CPR training day held at multiple locations across NSW, including a major event at Allianz Stadium.

The tasks I undertook for this project included brainstorming unique logo ideas for THA Day, designing the website, building the website, creating graphics for social media promotion, creating EDMs and print flyers to encourage registrations, and designing post-event collateral such as thank you EDMs.

For their logo, the client wanted to include symbolism that represents CPR, hearts or Australia. This was something of a challenge, but an enjoyable one.

The design of their responsive website was also another task I undertook, which served to promote the event and a page to capture registrations. I also assisted with the front-end built.

Because the charitable event was also hoping to target schools, businesses and volunteers, I created separate A5 promotional flyers for each of these audiences. These flyers were to promote the event. Another piece of collateral I designed were the A4 participant certificates for attendees.

In terms of digital marketing, I designed and built responsive EDMs to promote the event, as well as the Thank You EDM for after.
