Communications Curator is a website that was built on the idea of customising a set of directions for call creation and answer. In short, a user would be able to enter the phone number they would want to call, and the number to call from in a web form. Then, depending on the call response - they could be connected with a person to speak, or if the call goes unanswered, alternatives such as leaving a voicemail or text would then be used, based on the options they filled out.
As the website itself is essentially a form, the client wanted to present the fields in a way that didn’t overwhelm the user. It had to be structured to allow the user to easily and systematically fill out their needs.
Because of this, I sectioned the form into four areas - one for each set of choices. From there, it made sense to include headings and brief instructions to guide the user on what to do.
The client also wanted colours and branding to reflect the ideas of being bold, innovative and fresh. Simple, clean design was also a high priority along with ensuring the website would be responsive.
Overall, the end result was a success in terms of design and the client was thrilled.
